Tiny Portable Printer

Tiny portable printer models are pretty hard to come by, but what exactly do I mean by ‘tiny’ portable printers?  Interested in finding out?  Then read below to find out more..

Compact portable printer models are printers that are smaller than normal portable printers, and are designed to fit into a person’s bag, pocket and so forth.  To put it simply, the person should be able to find that they can carry around the compact printer all day without it causing too much of a strain.  A small wireless portable printer for a laptop, should cause no strain and should easily fit into a person’s pocket or hand.  These devices are truly tiny, an example of which would be a Printstik Mobile Printer.  This tiny mobile printer, is literally just the width of an A4 sheet of paper, with it only being literally around 2 inches thick.

This kind of a size is pretty common for wireless inkjet portable printers because it allows an A4 sheet of paper to be fed through, as it’s the most commonly used one.  It means that printers of actual use to people pretty much have to always be the width of an A4 sheet of paper.  It’s also only a few inches thick, allowing just enough room for the printing hardware to do its job.

For a start they only have a very short battery life, meaning fewer sheets of paper can be printed.  They’ll also tend to have smaller ink tanks, meaning that less sheets of paper can be printed before the ink runs out.  Not only this, but again they’ll have fewer functions and possibly be of a lower quality as well as almost certainly being in black and white.  A good example would be a thermal small portable printer because they tend to be much smaller than inkjet/laser-based models.

This may seem off putting, but you have to remember that although ink tanks would have to be changed regularly as well as re charged often.  If you are using it on a day to day basis, it’d be very useful.  For example, even though you might have to charge the power every day or two, and change the ink tanks every week or so.  The fact that you can literally carrying a compact portable printer that’s ultra light weight around with you all day is a very useful thing to have.  Not only can you carry it around with you all day, but it’s also a light portable printer – meaning that your muscles won’t be tested constantly, but it fact you’ll barely notice it!
